A blaze on the roof of an Upper East Side high-rise sent massive plumes of smoke billowing into the air Tuesday afternoon, according to fire officials and photos.
The fire was reported just before 2 p.m. at the 21-story building on East 66th Street near Third Avenue, fire officials said.
Smoke can be seen pouring from a unit on the roof, according to videos and photos from social media.
More than six dozen firefighters were on scene battling the blaze, according to the FDNY. No injuries were reported.
