Bright lights, big fire.

Flames tore through the $9 million Hamptons mansion of heiress Anne Hearst and her novelist husband Jay McInerney Saturday morning.

An 8:32 a.m. 911 call reported smoke in the 11,000-square-foot house designed by architect Peter Cook, the ex-husband of Christie Brinkley.

“Everyone got out of the house safely,” said Southampton Police Sgt. Michael Burns of the manse on Little Noyac Path in the Water Mill hamlet.

Burns said there was “a problem with the fireplace and chimney that was ongoing throughout the night.”

There were no injuries.

Ten fire companies responded to the inferno, which consumed the roof of the sprawling home which sits on a 10-acre parcel.

With the nearest fire hydrant more than a mile away, tanker trucks had to keep going back and forth for water, the Southampton Press reported.

Among the furnishings inside were mantelpieces once meant for San Simeon, the California home of Hearst’s grandfather, publishing magnate William Randolph Hearst.

“We like to call it Anne Simeon,” McInerney once joked at one of the many charity benefits the couple hosted at the home.

The couple kept an emu, a wallaby, a parrot, and various dogs on the property, which is known as Ashgrove Farm, Vanity Fair reported in 2008.

”I know Jay was there. Everybody’s fine. The animals are fine,” said Alan Ceppos an actor and producer, who lives directly across the street.

He added the couple had llamas and even a donkey.

Ceppos said “the fire department handled it beautifully. They were admirable.”

Neither Hearst nor McInerney could be reached for comment.

Amanda Urban, McInerney’s agent, said she could not comment.

“I’m in St Barts and have no idea. This is the first I heard of it,” she said.

Hearst and McInerney were married in 2006 in a ceremony officiated by former Mayor Rudy Giuliani at the 21 Club in Manhattan.

It was the third marriage for Hearst, whose sister is Patty Hearst, and the fourth for McInerney, whose bestselling 1984 novel “Bright Lights, Big City,” was made into a Hollywood movie.

The couple also have a penthouse apartment in Greenwich Village.
