An early morning blaze ripped through a Brooklyn apartment complex injuring two people Sunday, fire officials said.
Firefighters responded to the two-story complex at 2262 85th Ave. in Gravesend just before 6:30 a.m., an FDNY spokesman said.
One victim was taken to the Brooklyn NYU Langone Medical Center with minor injuries, according to fire officials. The other was treated for minor injuries at the scene.
The Red Cross was at the scene to help displaced residents, the FDNY said. It was not immediately clear how many of the building’s 12 units were left uninhabitable.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
