The former executive director of the city’s Board of Elections isn’t taking his firing quietly — he claimed yesterday that he was the victim of discrimination and said he intends to sue after enduring years of a “hostile work environment.”
George Gonzalez also said he’s going to court to pursue $227,230 in comp-time pay he accrued since January 2006 and $51,996 in unused vacation and sick time.
Gonzalez got the ax after The Post reported that he had altered the ballot for a special City Council election in Queens, contravening a vote by the board.
