A Staten Island firefighter was arrested for shoving down a 78-year-old man, cops said.
Salvatore Dagostino, 43, was working his second job as a landscaper when he pushed around a septuagenarian client, who suffered cuts, police said.
The elderly man, whose name was not released, was in stable condition at Staten Island University Hospital.
Dagostino was charged with second-degree assault and criminal mischief. He was awaiting arraignment.
Dagostino, a firefighter with Staten Island’s Ladder Co. 83, is an 11-year veteran, said an FDNY spokesman.
He runs SD Landscaping, in addition to his firefighting duties, according to public records.
