Flames tore through a mega-mansion–worth nearly $18M–currently under construction at 351 Delfern Drive in Beverly Crest Tuesday afternoon, sending thick plumes of smoke into the sky as dozens of firefighters swarmed the scene.
At the height of the blaze, 150 personnel were working the scene, LAFD said.

Aerial footage showed flames punching through the roof while smoke poured out in heavy waves. At one point, part of a chimney reportedly gave way, adding to the chaos.
