A man was found dead and burning in a pile of trash in a Woodhaven park.

Firefighters responding to a call about a smoldering trash bin inside Forest Park at around 5:55 a.m., yesterday discovered a man’s body severely burned in the pyre, police said. The man was too badly burned to identify immediately, a law-enforcement source said.

Police are awaiting an autopsy to determine the cause of death. Investigators were scouring the park for evidence and canvassing the neighborhood for information.
