Firefighters saved a dog from a Midtown blaze Wednesday morning, officials said.
The pup, named Scotch, was rescued from a sixth-floor fire that broke out just after 10:15 a.m. at a Tudor City Place apartment building in Murray Hill, fire officials said.
The tearful owner thanked and hugged the fireman who saved her dog.
Seventy-eight firefighters were still on scene battling the blaze as of 11 a.m., according to the FDNY. No injuries were reported.
