Firefighters are trying to rescue more than 50 people from elevators after power was knocked out in about 20 buildings in a Queens apartment complex, officials said.

The FDNY and the NYPD’s Emergency Services Unit responded to 911 calls reporting that dozens of people were stranded because of the outage on 130th Avenue in Rochdale Village, officials said.

The call came in at 2:35 p.m. and crews have spent over an hour trying to free trapped residents and workers.
