Two separate fires broke out at Montefiore Medical Center in the Bronx Friday night, authorities said.
Firefighters were first called to the Norwood hospital at about 7 p.m. for a blaze in the maintenance room, which was under control less than an hour later, the FDNY said.
Once on the scene, smoke eaters also had to extinguish an unrelated car fire in the hospital’s parking garage.
Nobody was injured and no patients were evacuated, according to the FDNY.
