Bomb-squad officers in Rockland County were dispatched to a report of a red suitcase found in a park in Nanuet. They took X-rays of the package and saw three cylinders inside. So they cleared the park and blew the suitcase up.

It turned out that the suspicious items in Thursday afternoon’s scare were a can of corn and two cans of tuna.
