Five of New York’s Finest saved a baby in Manhattan who had stopped breathing just before the fireworks kicked off, the NYPD tweeted.

The officers had just arrived in Manhattan when they were flagged down by parents whose baby wasn’t breathing, NYPD Chief of Department Terence Monahan said in a tweet just before 9 p.m. Thursday.

The cops, listed as Sergeant Chandu and Officers Grennan, Keegan, Rehilly and Losquadro, jumped into action.

“These hero cops went to work & saved her life!” Monahan said. “From saving a baby to securing the Macy’s fireworks, NY’s Finest do it all.”
