Flack’s no-jail DWI plea
A top city spokesman, busted for an embarrassing DWI fender-bender, copped a plea deal yesterday that will keep him out of jail.
Seth Andrews, 35, admitted to misdemeanor driving while intoxicated, and agreed to pay $895 and lose his license for six months.
Andrews, once the flack for the Office of Emergency Management, will also have to enroll in a drunken-driving education program.
His lawyer, Jeffrey Lichtman, called the arrest “the sole mistake in a life otherwise filled with good deeds.”
Andrews still works for the OEM, but not in the press department, a spokesperson confirmed.
