Fire raged through a NYCHA apartment in Manhattan on Sunday morning, leaving two firefighters hurt and a civilian severely injured, authorities said.
Bravest and EMS responded to a 911 call at around 11:11 a.m. for a blaze on the eighth floor of a building at Stanley M. Isaacs Houses in Yorkville, authorities said.

About 120 firefighters and EMS workers swarmed the scene, where it took smoke-eaters a half-hour to extinguish the blaze, authorities said.
Two of the firefighters suffered minor injuries, while the civilian was more seriously hurt, according to the FDNY.
