Jared Fogle timed one of his illicit rendezvous with a 17-year-old victim to coincide with appearances he had to make for the 2012 New York City Marathon.
The Subway sandwich creep was snapped alongside Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps’ two sisters and mother at Tavern on the Green on Nov. 1, 2012 — two days before Fogle paid to sleep with “Minor Victim 13” at the posh Plaza hotel, where he was staying.
The next day, he attended a panel discussion with Subway teammates ahead of the race — which later was canceled due to the damage and chaos caused by Hurricane Sandy.
He tweeted on his personal Twitter account the next day about appearing on CBS’s “Subway Postgame Show” and posted pictures of himself in Times Square and at the CBS studio.
Fogle returned to the city for business again Jan. 11, 2013, to bed the same teen, this time at the Ritz-Carlton.
Federal prosecutors who announced charges against Fogle on Wednesday said the married father of two planned his business trips to coincide with his “pursuit of commercial sex acts.”
