A food delivery man was randomly attacked while working in Hell’s Kitchen last Thursday night, police said.
The 47-year-old victim was standing next to his motorized bike when a man approached him from behind and whacked him in the head with a plastic traffic tube on West 47th Street near Ninth Avenue, according to cops.
Surveillance footage provided by police shows the victim fall to the ground after the attack.
He suffered cuts to his head and was taken to Bellevue Hospital in stable condition.
The still-at-large suspect fled on foot after the attack, down Ninth Avenue towards 42nd Street, police said.
