Foodies headed for K & M Bar, 225 North Eighth Street, for the twilight treat-time, which showcased the Big Apple’s remarkable sweet and savory culinary skills while raising money for BK Farmyards, an organization which transforms derelict city areas into usable farmland.

Visitors had a chance to weigh-in on their fave combo in the People’s Choice category, or compete with their best take on the classic American dessert by following a few simple rules: homemade crust, no pizza pies and a brief description of the entry.
