Harold Ford Jr. ratcheted up his attacks on Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand yesterday — blasting her as a “hypocrite” who was hiding her work as a “tobacco apologist.”
Ford made the comments in an open letter to Gillibrand on the heels of a Post report noting that she was not willing to release her tax returns in her 2006 House race, even though she’s urged her potential rival to “come clean” about his possible Wall Street bonus money.
Gillibrand released many of her past tax returns last year.
