Fordham University has created a relief fund for the family of the seven victims who died in a horrific New York City highway accident.

Two of the victims worked in the school’s custodial department. They were Maria Gonzalez, the driver of the van, and her sister, Maria Nunez.

Their elderly parents and three children also were killed in Sunday’s accident on the Bronx River Parkway.

Fordham University President Joseph McShane said “no worse tragedy can befall a family.”

Checks can be made to the Fordham University Disaster Relief Fund. Those wishing to help can call 718 817-3000 for more information.

Relatives have also established a fund for donations to help defray funeral expenses.
