Looking to get Mayor Bloomberg to promote your store?

Just open a space in Times Square projected to draw 100,000 shoppers a day.

That’s just what happened yesterday, when the mayor visited the 91,257-square-foot Forever 21 clothing retailer at West 46th Street and Broadway, which opens today at 10 a.m. with giveaways and raffles.

“This store opening really is a vote of confidence in our city’s future,” declared the mayor.

The store, housed at the former Virgin Megastore, will be the largest single brand-name apparel store in Manhattan, with an employee roster of 500 and 151 fitting rooms.
