WASHINGTON — New Jersey Gov. Chris Christie is spreading some holiday cheer by sending Christmas cards to scores of influential politicians — in Iowa.

Rep. Jake Highfill, a Republican member of the Iowa House of Representatives, said he believes after asking around that every Republican in the legislature got a card.

“The people I talked to, they all got Christie Christmas cards,” a surprised Highfill told The Post.

He said he hadn’t received similar holiday greetings from any other potential GOP presidential contender.

Highfill posted a message on Facebook when he received the card with a New Jersey return address.

“I mean it’s only three years until the Iowa caucus,” he wrote. “That’s called thinking ahead.” The card was paid for by the New Jersey GOP, Buzzfeed reported.
