The ex-CEO of now-shuttered gay escort website Rentboy.com is close to striking a plea deal in his prostitution and money laundering case, according to new court filings.

Lawyers for Jeffrey Hurant and Easy Rent Systems Inc. say they are in the midst of “finalizing the details of a plea agreement” with feds in a letter filed Wednesday to Brooklyn federal court Judge Margo Brodie.

The judge granted their request to adjourn a hearing scheduled for Thursday pending the resolution.

The lawyers asked to instead pencil in a “change of plea hearing” for the last week in August — meaning Hurant will likely plead guilty though it’s unclear to what charges.

Hurant, who ran the world’s largest gay-prostitution site, faces up to 20 years but will probably get far less as part of the deal.
He and six staffers were arrested in a raid at the Union Square offices last year. Charges against the workers were eventually dismissed.

Prosecutors said the site made $10 million between 2010 and 2015 operating as an online brothel that allowed escorts to pay for ads touting their sexual services.

Hurant, who has been free on bond, has defended his business as being perfectly legal.

A lawyer for Hurant did not respond to a message.

A spokeswoman for the US Attorney’s Office declined to comment.
