Before his apparent suicide attempt in his Connecticut mansion, accused wife-killer Fotis Dulos left behind a note saying he did not murder Jennifer Dulos, according to reports.
The note proclaiming his innocence was found Wednesday during the latest state police search of his Farmington property.
The search turned up no new clues to what happened to the still-missing mother of five, the Hartford Courant reported.
Dulos, a builder of luxury homes, meanwhile remained in dire condition after barely surviving what police described as a suicide attempt at the home.
Dulos, who was on house arrest, was rushed Tuesday to Jacobi Medical Center in The Bronx after he missed a bail hearing and was found inside his car in his garage.
Dulos had rigged a hose to the exhaust pipe of his car in order to poison himself with exhaust, officials said.
Jennifer, 50, was estranged from Dulos when she vanished on May 24, 2019.
Prosecutors say Dulos is linked to her death by strong forensic evidence — including his DNA and her blood mixed on a sink faucet — and by surveillance video showing him throwing out garbage bags full of paper towels and other items stained with her blood in Hartford on the day she went missing.
Fotis Dulos is tended to by emergency responders.NEWS 3
