A passenger was killed Saturday after he fell or jumped from between two subway cars, becoming the fourth person this month to die that way, tweeted Sarah Meyer, chief customer officer of NYC Transit.

Passengers told police they saw the victim walking between cars of a southbound Q train at the 96th Street of the Second Avenue line. The man carried no identification, police said.

“Please, please don’t walk or stand between the cars. It’s never worth it,’’ Meyer said in her tweet.
