Former Congressman and federal inmate Michael Grimm is reportedly eyeing his old seat in Congress.

Grimm, who spent seven months behind bars for tax fraud, has been circulating his political plans to a small number of Republican power brokers on Staten Island, according to NY1.

Grimm would need to oust current GOP Congressman Dan Donovan in a primary challenge.

A number of Democrats are also vying for the Congressional seat in a heavily Republican district.
