Friends of a Brooklyn musician are reaching out to the public in hopes to find their friend who went missing earlier in December.
Sam Jayne of the indie rock band Love as Laughter and Lync was last seen in Williamsburg on Dec. 6, according to social media posts in the last few days.
“He has been out of phone and email contact since Monday,” wrote Clem’s bar in Williamsburg, where Sam bartends.
“This could be something as mild as a broken phone but it would be a great relief to know if anyone has had contact with him after Monday and if they know how to reach him.”
“He drives a Mid 2000’s maroon Chevy Tahoe.”
Union Pool posted a missing person poster of Jayne holding a kitten, saying he may be in Sunnyside, Woodside, Ridgewood, Williamsburg, possibly motels in the Queens area?”
Fellow musician Har Mar Superstar tweeted “Our dear friend Sam Jayne (@loveaslaughter) has gone missing since being last seen in Brooklyn…Heartbroken but remaining hopeful.”
Jayne’s friend Michele Luger wrote “Help find our friend! If you have any actionable info of Sam’s whereabouts please email Samsearch2020@gmail.com,” on Instagram.
Jayne is the vocalist and guitarist of Love as Laughter.
