They’re not deadlocked yet.

Jurors at the John “Junior” Gotti trial completed a ninth day of deliberations yesterday after sending out a second note saying they were “unable to reach a unanimous verdict” on any of three racketeering and murder counts.

Defense lawyer Charles Carnesi sought a mistrial, citing Gotti’s three previous hung juries and the “naturally coercive” effect of tomorrow’s Thanksgiving holiday.

But Manhattan federal Judge Kevin Castel denied the motion.

Castel urged panelists to reconsider their sticking points.

About 30 minutes later, the jury requested transcripts of the testimony of seven witnesses — five who testified for the prosecution, and two for the defense. Another note asked for only a half-day of deliberations today — a request the judge granted. Bruce Golding
