Two young girls sitting in a parked car in The Bronx became severely ill yesterday after their 26-year-old mother accidentally shoveled snow in front of the running sedan’s tailpipe — blocking the opening and sending noxious fumes inside, sources said.
Jasmine Mendoza’s daughters, ages 4 and 7, initially found unconscious, are in stable condition after being treated in a hyperbaric chamber, Fire Department sources said.
