The New York Sharks, a women’s tackle-football team, claims a player kept thousands of dollars won on the cable-TV game show “The Bank of Hollywood” intended to help the team attend a 2010 tournament in Sweden.
The check was made out to Adrienne Smith, now with another team, who kept nearly half, says a lawsuit filed in Manhattan Supreme Court.
Smith and two other players appeared last year in January and won $65,000.
Smith did not return Post calls.
