Strong tides forced rescuers yesterday to suspend the search for a woman who fell into the Harlem River during a party in a secluded area along the shore, authorities said.

Three men told cops they dived into the river near West 147th Street and the Harlem River Drive just before 3 a.m. to rescue the woman.

They couldn’t find her, and one of the would-be Samaritans had to rescued himself.
