It’s OK to carry a gun in The Bronx — as long as you’re a gang member, several jurors apparently found yesterday.

Kenny Tavarez, 22, a self-professed Bloods associate, claimed on the witness stand last week that he was packing heat for “protection” since he had just been shot twice in the past six months.

But jurors yesterday deadlocked on whether to convict him for carrying a loaded weapon even even though Tavarez admitted on the witness stand last week he admitted to the crime while on the witness stand.

“I can’t believe this. It was a cut-and-dry case,” a law-enforcement source told The Post.

The DA’s Office has vowed to retry Tavarez.
