The gangbanger who couldn’t shoot straight is headed to trial.

Opening statements are expected Wednesday in the trial of reputed Brooklyn gang leader Nicholas “Face” Washington — whose crew twice tried to execute rivals, but instead accidentally killed innocent bystanders.

Victim Steven Negron was slain in February 2005 outside Bed-Stuy’s Marcy Houses, when members of Washington’s G’z Up cocaine gang opened fire during a turf war, per court docs.

Andrell Napper was the next mistaken victim, according to the documents. He was shot near the Tompkins Houses in August 2006, when the gang attempted to retaliate for the killing of Washington’s brother.

Prosecutors say Washington ordered both botched shootings. He’s now facing murder in aid of racketeering charges for the disastrous hits.

Washington pleaded not guilty and faces life behind bars if convicted.
