A gas leak Sunday morning forced firefighters to evacuate a residential block in Staten Island, according to the FDNY.

The leak outside a residence on Maplewood Place, near Hylan Boulevard, was reported at 8:07 a.m., fire officials said.

Sixty firefighters were on scene Sunday and evacuated the block, which has at least 10 homes, according to officials.

No injuries were reported.
