A flurry of signal problems and mechanical issues is creating headaches for riders right at the start of the Thursday evening commute.
- Flushing-bound 7 line local and express trains are running with delays because of signal problems at Junction Blvd.
- There are delays on the 2,3,4, and 5 lines because of a train with mechanical problems at 135th Street, and 2 trains are running on the 5 line.
- Northbound F trains are running with delays because of signal problems at Coney Island-Stillwell Avenue.
- Southbound B and C trains are running with delays because of signal problems at Cathedral Pkwy on the Upper West Side.
- Southbound R and W trains are running with delays because of signal problems at Whitehall St.
MTA officials said they are working to get all of the issues fixed.
