TROY, N.Y. — Democratic Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand and Republican rival Joe DioGuardi are trading barbs over job creation in a televised debate.

The debate Thursday night in Troy comes six days after their first spirited debate in New York City.

Polls show Gillibrand, a former congresswoman appointed to replace Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton, with a wide lead over DioGuardi.

DioGuardi is a former congressman from Westchester County.

The hour-long debate is airing live on YNN stations in upstate New York and on NY1 in New York City starting at 7p.m.
