A planned stop by Rudy Giuliani at City Hall for an endorsement press conference today was abruptly canceled.
The call-off came a day after his former police commissioner, Bernard Kerik, was sentenced to four years on a string of charges, including lying to the White House.
Giuliani hasn’t commented about the sentencing, and he was sure to be bombarded by questions about it today.
In an e-mail to supporters this morning, the campaign of former FBI agent Michael Grimm made clear that the Giuliani endorsement was still happening, saying that the press conference “will have to be rescheduled.”
