A goat was found on the lam in The Bronx on Sunday.
Authorities picked up the baby hoofer near the Bronx Zoo just after 4 a.m. as it wandered around East 180th Street.
It was the fifth animal to escape the slaughterhouse in 10 days, said Katy Hansen, a spokeswoman for Animal Care Center of NYC.
“Honestly, we have no idea how all of this is happening!” Hansen said.
The goat, named Burt by the ACC, now has a new life at a farm sanctuary.
On Tuesday, a wayward cow shut down traffic on the Major Deegan Expressway for more than 30 minutes before cops were able to corral the calf.
