A Queens man helped cops snag two suspected package thieves — and the purloined parcel was returned before the victim even realized it was missing, officials said Monday.
Rich Ramnarine saw two men swipe an Amazon package from a neighbor’s porch on 117th Street near 133rd Avenue in South Ozone Park at about 4 p.m. Sunday.
The two zipped off in a car, but Ramnarine scribbled down their license- plate number, jumped in his vehicle and chased after them, he told The Post.
When he found the car, he called 911.
“He was a big help,” a police source said.
Officers Matthew Peters and Dominic Perfetto were dispatched, and the package, which contained a Christmas present, was returned.
Aron Abud, 18, and José Espinal, 20, have been charged with petit larceny and criminal possession of stolen property.
