A member of New York’s Finest knelt down on the wet pavement off Kent Avenue in Brooklyn on Sunday to help fix a cyclist’s flat tire during the Five Boro Bike Tour.
Despite the lousy weather, 32,000 riders came out for the 40-mile event.
“Pumping bike tires is not normally in a police officer’s job description, but this NYPD officer adopted a new motto: to serve and inflate,” tour organizer Ken Podziba quipped The Post.
