A 6-year-old girl who fell onto subway tracks in Brooklyn on Saturday was rescued by a quick-thinking Samaritan.

The child and her mother were on a D train heading toward Coney Island when the child started running in and out of the doors at the Atlantic Avenue station and running around the platform.

Suddenly she slipped and fell between two cars.

Her rescuer kneeled on the platform, stretched down and pulled her to safety. The child suffered only cuts and bruises.
