A Queens man who fatally stabbed a good Samaritan was sentenced to 18 years in prison yesterday after the judge lambasted him for killing because of “intolerance.”

Daryl Reid, 24, confessed to Queens Supreme Court Justice Richard Buchter in June that he and his co-defendants, who pleaded guilty, attacked 49-year-old Richard Salter for coming to the aid of a transgender woman whom they were harassing.

“[Salter’s] heroism should be recognized,” Buchter said.
