Vincent “Vinny Gorgeous” Basciano breathed a sigh of relief in a Brooklyn courtroom yesterday after a federal death-penalty jury decided he can keep breathing.

Jurors took just over 90 minutes to sentence the mob don to life in prison instead of lethal injection.

Basciano was convicted last month of ordering the murder of an insubordinate gang associate, Randy Pizzolo, in 2004.

Jurors said they reasoned that other murderous mobsters have not gotten a death sentence.

Basciano smiled at them and nodded his head at hearing the verdict.
