The son of Bonanno crime family boss Vincent “Vinny Gorgeous” Basciano was arrested yesterday and charged with participating in a cross-country pot conspiracy.

Authorities say Joseph Basciano, 27, ordered 13 pounds of marijuana that was shipped earlier this year from California to The Bronx in US Postal Service Express Mail parcels.

Basciano’s father — nicknamed “Vinny Gorgeous” after the beauty salon he once owned — is currently serving a life sentence in federal prison following convictions for two mob murders.
