Did I do that?
An elderly Long Island driver caused a chain reaction of fires and property damage when her car hit a utility pole and kept going.
The woman’s car hit the pole in Roslyn Harbor yesterday afternoon, and then struck a brick wall, police said.
The pole fell and caused an electrical fire and a gas line to ignite. The fires spread to shrubs and another car. Two more utility poles fell as a result.
The Glenwood Fire Department put out the blazes.
The 80-year-old woman complained of head pain and was taken to a local hospital, where she was evaluated and released, cops said.
She had no passengers and no other injuries were reported.
