A Pace University football star shot by cops after allegedly hitting them with his car lay dying and handcuffed for up to 15 minutes without attention from a medical team treating a less seriously injured officer steps away, witnesses have told a lawyer for his family.
Mount Pleasant cops claim officers shot at Danroy “DJ” Henry early Sunday after he abruptly tried to drive his car out of a fire lane and slammed into two cops outside Finnegan’s bar.
Lawyer Michael Sussman said witnesses have told him Henry “was literally dragged out, handcuffed, and was laying in the middle of the street for 10 to 15 minutes.”
