Staten Island Rep. Michael Grimm’s former gal pal pleaded guilty Wednesday to funneling thousands of dollars in illegal contributions to aid his 2010 run for office.

Texas brunette Diana Durand, 48, admitted in court that she recruited “straw donors” to pump cash into campaigns for Grimm and another congressional candidate.

“I approached two straw donors and asked that they donate $12,000 to congressional candidates,” she said in Brooklyn federal court.

“I knowingly and willingly advanced payment to the straw donor who made the contribution or reimbursed them after the contributions.”

The single mom – who lives in Houston – could be sentenced to just probation or could get up to two years behind bars.

The hotheaded Grimm – an ex-Marine and former FBI agent – will have to multitask this fall as he fights off a serious challenger for his congressional seat while mounting a defense against federal tax-evasion charges, following a judge’s ruling Tuesday that jury selection for his trial begin December 1, 2014.

Durand’s lawyer Stuart Kaplan claimed outside court that she didn’t cooperate against Grimm before pleading guilty and said she hasn’t spoken to Grimm since their indictments.
