A beloved 89-year-old supermarket owner was found dead in his Queens home — his hands bound and his face smashed — after one of his weekly trips to Atlantic City, sources said yesterday.

Damaso Llano, part owner of El Mundo Supermarket in Corona, was discovered at 8:30 a.m. yesterday by a caretaker who was checking on him at his home on 43rd Avenue, the sources said.

“I’m speechless. I woke up to the horrible news this morning . . . My father was just an awesome guy. We’re devastated,” said his son, Eddy, 51.

The caretaker, Roberto Pena, 54, ran from the home screaming, “He’s dead! He’s dead!” witnesses said.

“I opened the door, and I just saw him laying on the floor. His hands were tied with plastic, and there was blood on the floor,” Pena said.

Police sources said cops suspect robbery was the motive for the murder.
