A second suspect who allegedly stalked women in the same neighborhoods where cops are hunting for a serial groper was busted yesterday and charged with three attacks.
Police found Federico Chamorro-Yax, 22, in his Sunset Park apartment just hours after he was punched and scratched on the face by two 22-year-old women he had assaulted, authorities said.
He was still wearing clothing soaked in blood from his wounds.
The arrest came as women in the area remain on alert following a string of 10 similar incidents, but officials ruled out Chamorro-Yax as the serial groper.
After yesterday’s attacks, cops canvassed the neighborhood with a description of the assailant and were led to his apartment.
He was also wanted in connection with an attack on a 30-year-old woman in Bensonhurst on Sept. 4.
