The Guggenheim finally admitted Tuesday that it booted allegedly boisterous students visiting from a Brooklyn high school and barred them from returning — before abruptly ending the ban and calling it a “terrible misunderstanding.”

“We have reached out to the principal of the school to let her know that we would welcome her students back to visit,” the Guggenheim said, referring to the Brooklyn Science Skills Center HS.
