Guilty ‘guardian’
A Brooklyn jury yesterday acquitted five out of six members of Crown Heights’ Shomrim civilian neighborhood safety patrol of charges they roughed up a group of Yeshiva students, convicting one of the men on a count of misdemeanor assault.
Gedalia Hershkop, 35, the alleged ringleader of the group, was found guilty in connection with the Dec. 29, 2007, incident.
